The Consignment Bulk Release tool allows for a collection of pending Outwards Consignments to be released for picking at once.
The Consignment Bulk Release tool is accessed under the Consignments menu-item dropdown.
There are 4 steps to performing a bulk release.
Step 1: Search pending outwards Consignments to release
Begin by searching for a group of consignments to bulk release. There are a variety of filters you may use to narrow your search.
- The Warehouse and Client Partner fields must be selected.
Select the "Search Consignments" button to move to the next step.

Step 2: Select consignments to check Inventory availability
You will be presented with a list of consignments to choose from.
Select the checkbox for the consignments you wish to release for picking.
Below the list of consignments are boxes indicating whether to:
- Require consignments to have fully available inventory, or
- Allow consignments to have partially available inventory.
If the Client Partner has the Provisional Pick setting selected on their partner detail, these buttons will be available for selection.
If provisional pick is not on, these buttons will be inactive: Consignments will be required to have fully available inventory to be released for picking.

To move to the next step, select the "Check Inventory" button.
Step 3: Review and release Consignments
Review your selected consignments before release.
To complete the process and release consignments for picking, select the "Release for Picking" button.
Reviewing Consignments to bulk release
Release consignments as a Wave Pick
Consignments being released in bulk can be released as a wave pick.
To do so, select the checkbox for "Release consignments as wave pick". This will expose the configuration options to release the consignments for picking as a wave pick job.
Configure the wave pick details before finalising.

Step 4: Release complete
This final step confirms that the selected consignments have been released for picking.
