The Particulars field in a Rate can be used to describe the charge. The particulars field is free text, but also supports dynamic values that can be injected into the particulars.
When using a dynamic value, the actual value will be replaced by Consignly at the time of creating the charge.

Dynamic particulars are identified by curly braces around a key piece of text that describes the data that will be injected into the particulars.
In the example above, we're using information about the product via the {PRODUCT_DESCRIPTION} field, and information about the period of the storage via the {PERIOD_DAY_COUNT}, {PERIOD_START_DATE}, and {PERIOD_END_DATE} fields.
Underneath the field Consignly will show you a preview of how the particulars might look on a charge. The items in orange are sample data that has been used to illustrate how the dynamic fields will be replaced.
Use of this field without Separate Charges Per Product will result in all product information be written into a single charge which may not be desirable.
Using dynamic fields
To use a dynamic field in the particulars, choose the link icon at the end of the field.
You will be presented with a list of dynamic fields that can be used in this particulars box. The available fields may change depending on the type of rate being created. Freight, Activity, and Storage all have different fields available for use.
You may enter free text around the dynamic fields as desired to produce the particulars result you desire.
