To help secure your account, it is a good idea to enable Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) for your user.
Additionally, some organisations that you are invited to may require MFA to be configured on your account in order access the organisation.

Setting up MFA is easy.
- Login to the Consignly portal
- Visit the action menu in the header and choose Profile Settings
- Select the Security tab and choose Setup MFA
- Follow the prompts.
What you'll need
To enable MFA for your account, you'll need access to a device that has an authenticator app on it.
Google Authenticator for Android or iOS, or Microsoft Authenticator for Android or iOS are recommended.
A step by step on how to configure MFA
Login to Consignly and visit profile settings.

Download an authenticator app onto your device
Visit the Play Store or App Store and download a free Authenticator. Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator is recommended.
Add an account
Once you've downloaded an authenticator app, you'll need to add an account to that app.
Using the Microsoft Authenticator app, press the plus icon at the top-right and you'll be presented with the following options.
Choose Other and you'll be prompted to scan a QR Code.

Using the Google Authenticator app, choose the plus icon at the bottom-right of the screen and you'll be presented with the following options.
Choose Scan a QR code.

Once you have scanned the QR code and added the account to your Authenticator app, choose the Next Step button on the MFA setup page in your Consignly profile.
Consignly will ask you to enter the 6-digit code from your Authenticator app in order to verify that it was added successfully.
Enter the code from your Authenticator app, into the field on the profile screen and choose Verify Code.
Verify the account setup by confirming the MFA 6-digit code from your Authenticator app.
After verifying the code, Consignly will confirm that the MFA setup is complete.

What if I can't scan the QR code?
If you cannot scan the QR code because the QR Code is on the device you'll be using as the MFA device, or if you have a defective camera, then choose the Can't Scan QR Code? button.
If you are viewing this screen on an Android device, choose the Add to Authenticator button.
This will automatically open the authenticator app and prompt you to add the account to your device.

If you are not using an Android device as your MFA device, then you can copy the account name/secret key using the copy icon next to each value, and manually enter this information into your MFA application.

To manually add an account via the Authenticator app, choose the manual setup option instead of the QR Code option.

Next, enter the account name and paste the secret from the profile page into the appropriate fields in the Authenticator app and choose Finish.

For the Google Authenticator, choose Enter a setup key instead of Scan a QR code.

Enter the account name and paste the secret from the MFA setup screen. Ensure the option is Time-based before pressing Add.

MFA from the Warehouse App
If you're accessing the Warehouse App and the organisation requires MFA and your account hasn't been configured yet, you can configure MFA from the app.
After logging in, if your account does not have MFA configured but the organisation requires it, then you'll be presented with a view asking you to set up MFA.

To setup MFA, tap the Setup MFA button.
Consignly will launch the web app and after authenticating, you'll be taken to your profile screen. Complete the same steps above and MFA will be configured on your account.
Choose Back to App as the last step, and you'll be returned to the Warehouse App.
Tap the I've setup MFA, try again button, and Consignly will re-test your authentication options and ensure you have MFA on your account, and log you in.
