Rate Cards help organisations bundle their rates together, and support organisations that need to introduce a new rate structure to a Client Partner that might become effective from a particular date.
Rate cards can be created and managed by using the Rate Card sub-menu item on the menu, underneath both Client Partners and Carrier Partners.

Viewing rate cards
Choosing the Rate Cards sub-menu item will display a list of all rate cards for your organisation.
Optionally filter the rate cards by client and/or choose to filter rate cards by status.
Rate cards that are in draft will be shown with a Draft label. The date the rate card comes into effect will also be displayed.

Creating a rate card
Create a new rate card by tapping the create icon.
Choose the Client the rate card is for, and the Effective From Date when the rate card will come into effect.
When creating a Rate Card, the Client Partner is optional. If you choose not to select a Client Partner, then the Rate Card you are creating becomes an organisation rate card. Organisation rate cards act as fallback rate cards for Client Partners that don't have their own rate card created.
Viewing a rate card
Inside a rate card are several tabs. The Detail tab shows general information about the rate card, such as the Client and the Effective From Date.
The other tabs categorise the rates in the Rate Card by:
- Activity Rates
- Freight Rates
- Storage Rates

The shoulder of the rate card has an action menu that allows you to perform additional actions on the card, such as copying the card, activating and deactivating the card, and removing the rate card.

Copying a Rate Card
A rate card can be copied within a Client Partner, or to another Client Partner. This is often useful if a new Client Partner is going to work off a similar rate structure to an existing Client.
From the action menu in the shoulder of a rate card, choose Copy Rate Card.
Select the Client to copy the rate card to, and specify the effective from date.
When copying the rate card, Consignly gives you the ability to optionally apply a General Rate Increase (GRI) as a percentage. Entering a value in here will copy the rate card with the appropriate percentage increase in all the rates.
