Inline cycle counting supports prompting pickers to take a count of the remaining inventory in a location after picking, increasing opportunities to capture inventory variances.
Organisations can set their own target for how often the picker will be prompted to count by setting Cycle Count Rules.

The cycle count rules view displays a list of created cycle count rules. This view can be filtered by Warehouse, Location, Client, and Product.

Creating a Cycle Count Rule
To begin, visit the Cycle Count Rule submenu item within the Organisation menu.
New Cycle Count Rule
Configure the rules of your new inline cycle count:
Warehouse
Define the warehouse the rule is being created for.
Location
Define a Warehouse Location for the rule.
Partner
Select the Client Partner whose product you're looking to create the cycle count rule for.
Product
Define the product for the inline cycle count.
Hit Trigger Threshold
The hit trigger threshold is the amount of times a location will be visited before a cycle count is triggered.
Loose and Packaged Product Picks
Define the types of picks that count as a 'hit'.
- Loose product picks accumulate hits.
- Full package products accumulate hits.
Both options are selected by default. To exclude a pick type, uncheck the checkbox.
Creating a New Cycle Count Rule
When all required fields have been filled in, the "Create" button will become available.
Select Create to create the new cycle count rule.
Performing an Inline Cycle Count
When triggered, the picker is prompted in the mobile app to perform a cycle count after completing a pick.
Pickers can choose to complete or abandon the prompted cycle count.
If competing the count, the user can enter the quantity of the inventory product they have been prompted to count.
If abandoning the count, the user will be prompted to confirm this action via the Abandon Count dialog.
The dialog will give the picker options to Stay and complete the count, or to Abandon the count.

Managing a Cycle Count Rule
Once a rule has been created, the rule can be edited or removed.
To edit a rule, select the rule and select the "Edit" button.
To remove a rule, select the action menu and select the "Remove Rule" option.

When removing a rule, the user will be presented the Remove Rule dialog.
The dialog prompts the user the select the checkbox to ensure they "understand that this action cannot be undone".
- Once the checkbox has been selected, the "Remove Rule" button becomes available.
