In Consignly, Inventory can be in a number of different states, depending on where it is and what is being done to it.
- Inventory which is physically in the warehouse is considered to be On-hand.
- Inventory which is physically in the warehouse and is not being held for any purpose is considered Available and can be allocated to outwards consignments.
If the inventory has been assigned to an outwards consignment, it is considered to be Allocated. Stock may also be placed into a Hold status for a General Hold, QA Hold (Quality Assurance), or Return Hold.
