When you deactivate a warehouse in Consignly, the warehouse is no longer available for any activity. However, all historical data remains accessible.
Deactivating a Warehouse
To deactivate a warehouse, select the action menu at the top-right of the Warehouse Detail.
You will be presented with two options:
- Deactivate Warehouse
- Remove Warehouse
If the warehouse has been previously used, you will not be able to remove the warehouse, and will be prompted with a display message.
When selecting 'Deactivate Warehouse', you will be asked to confirm the action.
Select Deactivate Warehouse to confirm. Note that the warehouse cannot have any product stock on hand to be deactivated.
Accessing historical warehouse data
Many Reports can be run to display data for an inactive warehouse.
Choose a report with the option to filter by warehouse.
In the warehouse filter, select the checkbox 'Include Inactive'. This will display deactivated warehouses along with active warehouses.
Select the deactivated warehouse and run the report.
