The Consignment index displays information about Consignments that have been created. The layout of the index and the ordering of the Consignments can be configured in a number of ways. This configuration is saved within your browser session.
View Modes
The Index can be either viewed in a Compact or Expanded mode depending on preference.
The default mode of displaying the consignments index is Compact, which sets the index at a smaller size so that it takes up a smaller section of the display and allows (in most screen resolutions) for Consignments to be opened and viewed in a blade alongside the index.
In Expanded mode the Index occupies a larger area of the screen allowing for more Consignments and fields relating to consignments to be shown in a single view.
Layout Settings Options
In addition to the options for resizing the index there are also options for Sort Order and which Consignment Fields to Display.
Sort Order
The ordering of Consignments in the index is controlled by the chosen Sort Order.
There are two options Newest First (Default) or Priority (High to Low). The default option will show the Consignments in the order they are created in Consignly (Newest First) with the most recently created consignments shown at the top of the index and oldest at the bottom.
The second option Priority (High to Low) will display consignments based on Priority order - see Consignment Priority.
Fields to display
Additional information from Consignments can be displayed in the index based upon your selection of fields to display. This can be handy if you wish to have a tab or window in your browser open to focus in on particular fields of interest such as Expected Arrival and Expected Dispatch date.
