Consignments, regardless of whether they are Inwards or Outwards, have a similar makeup.
The General card defines information about the consignment, such as it's Consignly-generated number, Reference Number, Date Entered, and Expected Arrival or Dispatch Dates.
The Route card tells Consignly where goods are coming from, and going to. The route is used to resolve freight charges incurred by Carrier Partners, and charged by your organisation to Client Partners.
The Shipping / Container card allows you to enter information about the vessel and voyage information, as well as the container involved in this consignment. Information such as the container size and type, number, dates, and container yard are able to be recorded.
Freight settings configured in your Client Partner determine the Container Due Threshold which, in association with dates entered in the consignment, will surface up information on various dashboard widgets to keep track of when demurrage charges might be incurred.
The Status card indicates which status the consignment is currently at. Moving to different statuses will determine how product is represented in your warehouse (for example, has it been received or dispatched?).
The Metrics card summarises all the Metrics involved in this consignment. As you add products to the consignment, the Metrics card reflects the items, weights, volumes and other unit types that may be associated with the products on the consignment. Metrics are used for raising activity and freight charges on a consignment.
The Tasks card illustrates the number of times a task has been performed on a consignment. Tasks can be modified from the mobile app or within the web app. Tasks may include things such as shrink wrapping or re-stacking a pallet.
Charges may be defined for different tasks, and charges may be calculated based on the count of tasks recorded on a consignment.
The Charges card summarises the charges that have been calculated on the consignment. Charges are provided in more detail in the Charges tab on the consignment.
You can calculate charges from this card if you have permission to do so.
The Products card is where products added to the consignment are detailed. You can Find Products to add to the consignment, as well as manage exiting products on the consignment (such as adding product attributes, removing the product, or performing other actions on the product).
When the status supports it, this card will also show a Pick or Receive button to allow the consignment to be picked or received.
