Often warehouses will be dispatching goods to a transport that services a particular region in the country.
Typically when this happens, many consignments are picked and dropped to a dispatch location that is designated for goods travelling on the same transport as part of the same run.
If you have defined localities in Consignly via the organisation menu, then you can leverage those geographies to help Consignly automate the dispatch location for your outwards consignments.
Start by ensuring that you have localities defined in Consignly that cover different routes that your transport providers will be offering.
Once you have localities defined, visit the warehouse configuration and choose the locations tab.
From here, tap the action menu in the top-right of the locations blade and choose Default Dispatch Locations.

This new blade will list all the localities configured within Consignly. Simply indicate, for this particular warehouse, which location in your warehouse will be considered the default dispatch location for goods travelling to that locality.
If you don't want to set a default dispatch location for a locality, simply leave the drop down empty.

Once you have configured the default dispatch locations, whenever you create a new outwards consignment from this warehouse, Consignly will automatically set the default dispatch location based on the destination address set at the time of creating the consignment.
